Pastor Gary Dimovitz
Pastor Gary Dimovitz
Before coming to us with his wife Krista and daughter, Katelyn, Gary was an Associate Pastor at Bethany United Methodist Church in Macungie, PA. Bethany is a large church with multiple campuses where he was the lead pastor at their Catasauqua campus for three years before filling his role as an associate at their main campus. His main responsibilities at Bethany included preaching, congregational care, processing benevolence applications, men’s ministry and missions.
His passions within the church are preaching and congregational care as well as community outreach.
Gary graduated from the United Methodist Pastoral Licensing School in 2012 and is currently attending Wesley Seminary in Washington DC, where he is enrolled in the United Methodist Course of Study education program.
Gary has a wonderful little family with his wife and daughter. He has been with his wife Krista for eleven years and they have been married for nine years. Krista’s greatest joy is being a loving mother to their daughter, Katelyn. Katelyn is seven years old with a joy for reading, learning and baking with mom. While Gary enjoys wrenching on cars and motorcycles as well as canoeing and archery, what is most dear to his heart is spending time with his wife and daughter.
Gary was a skilled tradesman for many years. He was a foreman for a concrete construction company for ten years. He moved into carpentry where he was a supervisor for a local home builder for fifteen years. He was also the sole proprietor of his own carpentry business for five years.
Gary accepted Christ as Lord and Savior during confirmation classes as a young man. His journey with God over the years has been an adventure that he wouldn’t trade for the world. Gary was a skilled tradesman for many years, but when God called him into pastoral ministry, life truly began.
